DG Mobile, in collaboration with the Cyber Quest corporation, announces the release of the official EZ Web site, gGravure Idol Collectionh on its third-generation cellular phone distribution platform.
The DG Mobile corporation (Headquarters: Shibuyaku, Tokyo CEO: Kazusuke Obi) and the internet advertising agency and primary site administrator ,the Cyber Quest corporation (Headquarters: Shibuyaku, Tokyo CEO: Hidejiro Beppu) present the release of KDDIfs official electronic gravure books (category: photo galleries) specialty site, gGravure Idol Collectionh using the umobrief version 1.0vthird-generation cellular phone distribution platform, on December 14th, 2006.
DG Mobile has been helping publishing companies enter the electronic-books market since the dawn of the industry in 2004. In addition to providing a platform for distribution, DG Mobile offers over 500 titles, including photo-gallery contents. Now DG Mobile plans to develop new contents in collaboration with the Cyber Quest corporation.
The full scope of the electronic-books market for the period of 2002 was 10-billion yen, growing quickly to 94-billion yen by the period of 2005. The market for post-2006 is showing great promise for expansion.(Source: Impress Corporation gElectronic-Books Business Research Report 2006)
gGravure Idol Collectionh will be launched on EZ Web (KDDI) with expansion to other carriers planned for February 2007. The service may be enjoyed for monthly usage fees of 315 yen, 525 yen, and 1050yen (tax included) with additional usage fees of 157 yen~525 yen/ 50 yen a piece (tax included).
Photo Galleries will be updated weekly, with the original Gravure Idol Collection being expanded to include more photos of popular idols. There will be weekly photo gallery additions, download-ranking updates, and more contents featuring popular gravure talent such as Aki Hoshino and Yin Ling, as well as new gravure talent.
[ Future Endeavors]
Currently planned is the production of more strong collaborative work
with various publishing companies for the expansion of gravure sites, all with the same reliable distribution and characteristic drive in sales and promotion that DG Mobile offers. Similar services are planned for Soft Bank, beginning February, 2007.
