DG-Mobile launches the official distribution site of comic maestro Ishinomori Shoutarou for au, Vodafone
Ishimori Entertainment Inc. (Tokyo, Shibuya-ku; CEO: Shou Onodera,) DG-Mobile Inc. (Tokyo, Shibuya-ku; CEO: Kazusuke Obi,) and Quattro Media (Tokyo, Minato-ku; CEO: Wataru Minodera) are collaborating together in the commencement of the "Ishinomori Shoutarou" official distribution site. Comic creator Ishinomori's official site will launch December 1st for "Vodafone Live!," and on December 12 for the "EZweb" network. The site will be a distribution source for electronic versions of Ishinomori's work, which is highly regarded among manga enthusiasts. In addition to the electronic comics, the site will feature rich-contents such as flash games and character displays. Ishimori Entertainment Inc. will also reveal original content such as animations and production materials. DG-Mobile's "Mobile Comic's Solution" will enable the site to present Ishinomori's works as cellphone-viewable digital comics, while Quattro Media will be also be handling the content of Ishinomori's works, in addition to site development and administration.
The initial distribution of 10 titles will include "Cyborg 009," "Kamen Rider," "Ganbare Robocon," "Kenshi Shonen Ryu," "Sarutobi E-chan," "Jinzoningen Kikaida," and "Himitsu Sentai Gorenja." Generations from children to adults will be sure to enjoy the colorful lineup, and other popular works will be released successively as well. Ishinomori's achievement of creating the highest number of productions in his lifetime, in Japan, is acclaimed as "Ishinomori's 10,000-strokes." Rather than considering it a compilation, it is expanded to be "Ishinomori World," which is aimed at being a sight constructed to incorporate a large number of manga writers and designers works.
