The world’s first Third-Generation Mobile Phone manga and photo contents business manager, DG Mobile Corporation (Tokyo-to, Shibuya-ku / CEO: Kazusuke Obi), the PC electronic-book sales site “e Book Japan” administrator e-Book Initiative Japan Corporation (Tokyo-to, Chiyoda-ku / CEO: Yusuke Suzuki), and the most famous domestic advertising network owner Sky Media Corporation (Tokyo-to, Shibuya-ku / CEO: Masaya Nakagawa) have joined forces to produce the keitai magazine site “e-Book Japan” for Yahoo! Japan’s “Yahoo! Contents Store” on October 15th, 2005.

“e-Book Japan” is an entertainment site concept aimed at adults offering well known magazine and sports newspaper contents on a weekly basis and can be enjoyed anywhere, even on a daily commute. The content line-up includes the top headlines of “Shukan Post”, popular comics such as “Yarukkya Naito”, “Cobra”, and “Ringu”, as well as seasonal selections from popular photo-gravure talent. Also planned is the most massive line-up of comic, photo, and magazine contents for adults culled from the contents offered by the PC site “e-Book Japan” and DG Mobile.

Distinct features of the service include special-edition and popular contents with each purchase and a monthly pay course of “Monthly Miyasunonki”, a gravure-photo course from specific genres offered in a magazine-style package. The world of mobile phone entertainment is reaching out to adults. Among future developments scheduled are a product review function and a popular blog site with a keyword for distribution of associated reports and contents service to respond to readers’ needs.

“e-Book Japan DX” also plans to reach out to au and Vodafone.
